The Rules

These rules keep the world respectful, competitive, and welcoming so every player can enjoy SunnyNetwork without unnecessary drama.

Section 01

General Principles

1.1

Where they apply

These rules apply everywhere: in-game, on Discord, and in support tickets.

1.2

Account Responsibility

Your account is your responsibility and yours alone. If someone else uses it or your network to break rules, you are still accountable.

1.3

Staff Decisions

Staff decisions are final. Arguing, negotiating, or trying to exploit wording is forbidden and punishable.

Section 02

Chat and Community Conduct

2.1

Spam and Disruption

No repeated, excessive, disruptive, or unsolicited messages, emojis, images, mentions, unicode, or symbols. Encouraging others to do so is also prohibited.

2.2

Harassment and Toxicity

No harassment, insults, provocation, disrespect, or targeted negative behavior toward anyone, including staff.

2.3

Hate and Discrimination

No racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, ableist, or other discriminatory speech or actions.

2.4

Sensitive Topics

No references, jokes, or discussions about self-harm, suicide, or similar harmful topics.

2.5

Profanity

Offensive language directed at others is prohibited. General profanity not directed at a person may be moderated at staff discretion.

2.6

Chat Filter

No attempts to bypass or circumvent any filter, moderation tool, or content restriction.

2.7

Malicious Content

No sharing of harmful, deceptive, inappropriate, or unsafe links or files.

2.8

Advertising

No promotion of other servers, services, or unrelated communities without explicit staff permission.

2.9

False Reports and Staff Abuse

Deliberately false reports, wasting staff time, or attempting to manipulate staff is prohibited.

2.10

Threats and Privacy Violations

No threats of doxxing, hacking, DDoS, or anything similar. No sharing of anyone's personal information.

2.11

Impersonation

No claiming to be staff, to have staff powers, or otherwise misrepresenting roles.

2.12

Usernames and Content

Usernames and chat must be appropriate. Content that is sexual, violent, drug-related, or used to bypass moderation, such as switching language to evade the rules, is prohibited. Begging is not allowed.

2.13

Privacy and Support Tickets

Support tickets are strictly private. Sharing, leaking, or discussing ticket content outside the ticket is prohibited. Private chats, group messages, and DMs must not be shared without consent. Staff may act on toxic or rule-breaking behavior in private chats.

Section 03

In-Game Conduct

3.1

Alternate Accounts

A maximum of 3 accounts per player is allowed, regardless of device, IP, or method. Using alternate accounts to unfairly assist, boost, or farm progression on another account is prohibited, including PvP kill farming or any artificial stat or reward gain.

3.2

Ban Evasion

Using any account, device, or method to avoid punishment is prohibited.

3.3

Automation and Macros

Any form of automation that provides a gameplay advantage is prohibited, including macros, scripts, bots, autoclickers, key holds, and external tools.

3.4

Cheats and Unfair Mods

Hacked clients, x-ray, and any modification that gives an advantage are banned. Only client modifications that do not affect gameplay advantage are allowed. Printer and easy-place functions of otherwise allowed mods are prohibited.

3.5

Exploit Abuse

Using bugs, glitches, or unintended mechanics for benefit is prohibited. All exploits must be reported.

3.6

Botting and Multi-Account Control

Controlling multiple accounts to automate tasks, spam, farm, or mine is prohibited.

3.7

Cheater Association

Repeatedly assisting, protecting, or benefiting from known rule breakers may result in punishment.

3.8

Trading Rules

Trading in-game items for real money, services, or external compensation is prohibited. Use only the official in-game systems.

3.9

Stealing and Griefing

Taking items, altering builds, or destroying property without clear owner permission is prohibited.

3.10

Scamming and Deception

Any misleading trade, deception, or trap is prohibited, teleport traps included.

3.11

Inappropriate Builds

Any build that is offensive, sexual, violent, drug-related, or otherwise inappropriate is prohibited.

Section 04

AFK and Resource Rules

4.1

AFK Automation

While AFK, no action that requires an input that generates progress, items, or advantage is allowed. This includes, but is not limited to:

AFK placing blocks
AFK killing mobs
AFK mining
AFK farming, including crops and bonemeal
Any macro, script, or external tool for AFK advantage

Section 05

Enforcement and Interpretation

5.1

No Wordplay

Rules cannot be circumvented by wording tricks, interpretation, or comparison with other servers. What is prohibited in intent or effect is prohibited in practice.

5.2

Staff Authority

Staff determine rule application, intent, and punishment. Debating staff decisions, loopholes, or comparisons to other servers is prohibited.
